Skeptics who are keen on keeping science and consciousness apart point to an obvious fact. The fact that our universe follows certain physical laws. Walls are solid. Water is liquid. Fish cannot breathe outside of the water. If our reality was constructed by our consciousness, would not these laws be fluid and flexible? Would they not change according to our state of mind?
These questions come with barely tangible assumptions. These assumptions suggest that in our reality, in our world, we are the only dreamers of dreams.
Yet it is enough to look around ourselves to know that this is not the case. Our sun dances to the music of the milky way galaxy. Our earth dances to the song of our sun. We, the people, hear the music sung by the earth, and on top of it we impose our own vocals, our own vibration. We create something unique. Our tune is sung by our hearts. Guided by the intentions they send forth. Events and people that resonate with the tune we sing or complement it perfectly get guided by this tune into our lives. Those who dance to a different beat, do not get drawn into our reality.
So yes, our individual egos are not the sole creators of everything around us. They are only instruments that awareness can use to express the love that it feels and the love that it fears. There are limits on what we can create while we are confined to a particular body and a particular ego. But our spirit can always choose to change the melody and the style it favors. Our awareness can join a new orchestra.
Before our birth, our spirits chose to experiment to the music created on earth. Our spirits elected earth. We are not victims of the things that happen to us here. We cannot be. In the reality outside of space and time, our being is one with the world, and the sun, and everything that is.
